T2 WK6
Monday: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday: Today we started with maths we did a test on eastle it was a little bit of it was really hard but the rest was average. In P.E we went into the gym and

T2 WK5
T2 WK5
Monday: Today we started off with maths and in maths we started with our 12 questions as
usual and then we worked on drawing and measuring cm and the degrees of angles. During
writing only 3 people read out there speeches. I was one off the 3 I went second it was so scary
but at least I got it over and done with. My speech was on does colour affect your memory.
Then it was time for technology, during technology we painted two of our boards one yellow
and one black we also laser cutted out our noughts and crosses travel game we got 4 of them
printed out. We also laser cut out 8 of our lightning bolt keyrings. Our market day items look
fantastic. During drama Mrs Walker was on the choir trip so Mrs Morton took us for drama

T2 WK4
Monday: Today we started off with maths in maths we did a little bit of work on radius and diameter. In writing we were just reading our speeches out to a buddy. After morning tea it was time for technology I found a new idea to work on I lazer cut a 10 by 11 piece of wood as a square then I did the same again so I had two but instead the second one had nine even holes for my game of noughts and crosses my nine square the pop in and out of the big one have stickers on them resembling noughts and crosses. During Drama we went over our lines for grease and learnt a few more dances and also went over the dances we already knew. Chaplin wasn't there today so we did c.e in our room chaplin left a page of coloring in for us to do.
Tuesday: In Maths we worked out the diameter, radius and volume. In P.E we did choreographed dancing in time to a song in 4/4 beat. During French we worked on our play and practiced saying some of the words that we had trouble pronouncing, we also sang the song about the play. In social science I did my google a day because I had finished all my work. In reading we just did what we would normally do listen to someone reading shooting stars and then write the summary, I got to read some of the book today. During sport we just worked on some ball tactics and played a game with the other girls football team.
Wednesday: Today some girls from Diocesan came to talk to us about life at Dio and a bit about their school. Two students came from year nine and two students came from year twelve, the things they talked about were really helpful and now I understand more about Dio and what its like. After that we did some writing we practiced our speeches as usual and timed them to prepare for presenting our speeches. Then it was time for science in science we learnt about atoms and that there are 118 different atoms that surprised me because I would of guessed about 1,000 different atoms. Each item on the periodic table is a different type of atom as there are 118 different atoms on the periodic table. There are something called electrons shells and they surround the atom. The atoms is also made up of particles for example protons, neutrons, and electrons. The protons and the neutrons make up the atom. Atoms cannot be cut that is because they are indisvile. There are 118 different types of atoms they all come from the periodic table.

Then in syndicate assembly someone from world vision came to talk to us it was quite interesting and sad at the same time because of what the children in Sudan are going through. Then we went to art and pottery Im in art it was so fun we carried on from our project from last week doing our Dr.seuss work. Its sorta like free time to do anything Dr.seuss related using stencils, paint pens and even rollers. During sports time the fields were closed so we did some stretches from 3:20-4:30 in Miss Wrights classroom with her and the first and seconds girls football teams.

After that it was time for writing during writing we finished off our speeches and got them prepared to start reading them next week. Then it was music time during music we did our peer assessments and then if we were ready Mrs Wigmore came and assessed us on the guitar I think I did pretty well.

T2 WK3
Monday: Today In Maths we started with our 12 questions and then we worked on area. In writing we worked on our speeches. In technology we decided that we are not doing t-shirt bags and we are now making games for example today I made a thing where its like noughts and crosses, and instead of noughts and crosses you use two different coloured marbles and its the same idea of noughts and crosses. In drama we just went over our lines for grease, we also learnt the first high school dance. In C.E we continued watching the movie called jet pack Jack.
Tuesday: Today in maths we did 4 tests in maths buddy and then did some finishing off work. In french we just did our sentences that are in french that you find the missing word. In social studies we watched a video about someone who made a difference and invented something new that helped him and others. In reading we read some shooting stars.
Wednesday: Today in p.e we played a game with a frisbee in the rec centre it was where you were in two teams and had to gt the frisbee into the goal it was pretty fun. In writing we worked on our speeches, I am just editing my speech now. In science we did a test on atoms, we also made a video on flipgrid about what are atoms and what they are made up of.

Today in technology we painted out laser cut lightning bolt yellow and made some friendship bracelets. In drama we went over our lines for grease. In c.e we started watching a movie.

In social studies we worked on our five invention project. In reading we read some shooting stars.
In sport we worked on our football tactics.
Wednesday:
In P.E we played a game of linked octopus on the field we were working on movement. In maths we started with our twelve question test then worked on angles. In writing we worked on our speeches my speech is on does colour affect your memory.
Thursday:
In writing today we worked more on our speeches. We also read some shooting stars in reading. In social studies we worked on our five inventions. In maths we worked more on angles. In syndicate assembly a guest speaker came to talk to us from pacific aerospace about what he does for his job. It was so fun in art and pottery cause in art I worked on my Dr. Seuss piece of art and I put a shadow on and outlined my character the Lorax.
Friday: Today was book character day and I was dressed up as a pig and so was Olivia and Greer and Isobel was the the wolf. We didn't have maths because of the parade. In french we then did our sentences in french that you find the missing word. In music we did our self assessments on the guitar.
What was easy: Reading cause all we have to do is listen.
What was challenging: My speech was a little bit challenging because I was stuck and didn't know what to do next.
Goal: To do all my homework in time for the due date.

Monday: Today we did an eastle test in maths it was ok. In technology we laser cut our first design the lightning bolt it was ok but I think we need to change the design a little before we sell them. It was fun in drama because we got to choose our characters and get our Grease script I choose marty from the pink ladies.
Tuesday: In French we talked a bit about if we had been to different countries with a different language and compared to see if there was a difference. In literacy and reading we read a bit of shooting stars. In sport we just did trails I was trailing for soccer.
Wednesday: Today we had library when we went into the library it was a different layout with new shelving,I got a couple new books out. In P.E we went out to the turf and played a boys VS. girls 4 cones in a row, it was laid out on the floor and the girls won.
Thursday: Today we did some reading of shooting stars. In social studies we got set a new task it was coming up with 5 inventions that you like and writing about them. It was so fun in art and pottery because I finished my dr suess piece of art.
Friday: In assembly I got my Achievers tie. In maths we did a kahoot and my team got into the top five.
What was easy: Reading cause we only have to listen to the book and writing the summary.
What was challenging: Technology was a little challenging because we have to have more than a couple of tries to get it right.
Goal: Do all my homework up to a good standard.
